About the founder
I'm Bobby Shearer. I started at 22 as a refrigeration tech and engineer, and for the last 14 years I've worked in building automation and controls. On bids, I've spent more hours than I can count with a highlighter and a mechanical set, finding every unit on the schedule, hunting for it on the plans, and typing it all into a spreadsheet by hand. Then the engineer does it again, and the field crew does it a third time. I'm building BMSCoworker so that job gets done once, checked, and shared by the estimator, the engineer and the field crew, with a person still reviewing it and signing off.
